All NCDIR scientists mentor trainees, a term we use that can include teachers, high school students, undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs and other investigators wishing to learn new skills or train in a new academic discipline. Each lab provides training programs to support the development of young scientists, and the retraining of seasoned scientists. Internships can occur during the summer or year round.
Internships invigorate mentors as they relearn or are reintroduced to a particular area of research or technology through the eyes of a research trainee.
If you are interested in an internship or becoming a trainee please contact Jennifer.Dougherty@systemsbiology.org.
