The database currently includes approximately 3000 strains, many of which are tagged, and approximately 400 plasmids. Each strain is listed with details such as its descriptive and formal names, genotype, genetic background, and the location of frozen stock. Also included in the database are plasmids generated for tagging, expressing tagged constructs, producing antigens for production or affinity purification of our antibodies and affinity reagent expression. Users can set up their own customizable accounts and to bookmark and generate a history of their searches. The protocol and paper databases link directly to NCDIR publications and are independently searchable.
