We will develop our website into a source of "virtual workshops". These will be videos, which will take two forms. The first will be flash animations. These will give background and introductory material, and explain the principles underlying our techniques, and will overlap with (and be made the same way as) the introductory animations. The second will be instructional videos of our laboratory members demonstrating our techniques. Again, we will use our New Media and Design facility to produce a number of these videos in downloadable quicktime and wmv formats. The demonstrations will walk through each technique in easy-to-follow and clearly demarked stages, allowing the viewer to go though them at their own pace to gain the expertise necessary to successfully reproduce our techniques.
